Reducing the time for development of new catalysts is key to accelerating innovation for polyolefin research. The Freeslate Parallel Pressure Reactor (PPR) is a high throughput reactor system designed for the optimization and discovery of catalysts under realistic process conditions. By enabling the exploration of a much broader experimental space while maintaining conditions that are amenable to scale up, the PPR has proven to be the industry workhorse for catalyst development. It has been used by customers of Freeslate for more than 12 years with an extensive and published track record of success in developing leading commercial catalyst technologies and innovating catalyst systems resulting in a new class of polyolefins.
The Freeslate PPR enables up to 48 experiments per run with operational temperature up to 195 °C and pressure up to 33 bar (490 psig). Combined with Freeslate LEA (Lab Execution and Analysis) software, the PPR accelerates your entire catalyst development process including experiment design, catalyst preparation and screening, process monitoring, and data analysis, maximizing your R&D productivity.
