Solid DispensingMost experiments require preparation of "reagents" in liquid and/or solid format(s). Dosing of solid materials remains a very labor-intensive, time-consuming activity in the research process. Through its automated and configurable Core Module 3 (CM3) robotic platform, Freeslate enables you to perform solid dosing in a high throughput manner. With the CM3-based Solid Dispensing System, you can dispense a broad range of solids with varying properties to achieve reliable and consistent solid dosing. Both Powdernium™ powder and SV powder dispensers are used for accurate and precise solid dosing of varying quantities of solid materials. The Powdernium™ powder dispenser utilizes a mechanically stirred approach coupled with a proprietary learning algorithm. This technology prevents aggregation of the powder and avoids mechanical stress on the particles. This technology can be used for larger quantity dispenses (250 mg or more). The SV powder dispenser utilizes vibratory dispensing of solids directly from a very low dead-volume storage vial. This technology can be used for highly precise, small quantity dispenses (0.5 mg or less). A balance is used to control each dispense and record the final transfer amount. Liquid handling and temperature control functions are also available on this product. Combined with Freeslate Lab Execution and Analysis (LEA) software, the Solid Dispensing System accelerates your solid dosing process (experiment set-up, execution, and data capture), maximizing your R&D productivity.
