Powdernium Powder Dispensing Technology

Freeslate's Powdernium solids dispensing technology, which incorporates our gravimetric approach coupled with our proprietary learning algorithm, automatically dispenses a broad range of solids and solid powders with varying properties to achieve reliable and consistent dispensing of multiple types of solids, including powders with:

  • Low density, high density, slightly "sticky" or hygroscopic properties.
  • Ultrafine particle size or large millimeter particle size.
  • Spherical or oblong, "rod-like" shapes.
  • Undefined flow characteristics.

Powdernium technology prevents segregation of the powder and avoids mechanical stress on the particles. It also actively uses a balance to control each dispense, and records the final transfer amount. Using Powdernium technology with the Core Module 3 cuts production time and greatly increases productivity.

Powdernium and CM3 Workstation: Increased Flexibility and Productivity

The Powdernium CM3 workstation provides immense flexibility:

  • Consistently achieve high accuracy and precision (RSD 1-5% for typical dispense amounts) beyond any sustainable manual powder dispensing performance capabilities.
  • Integrate existing and future workflows.
  • Operate and run unattended day and night.
