Relevant Testing Substrates

Testing on relevant substrates can give you results that are correlative to customer preference and better enable early decisions to narrow the number of formulations you consider. We have developed a number of substrates that your formulations can be applied to including the following 12-channel substrates. Substrates are typically supplied by customers and manufactured into on-deck, application-ready substrates by Freeslate:

  • Hair
  • Fabric
  • Prepared paper substrates.
  • Skin or skin mimics
  • Prepared hard surfaces that can be custom designed for your application.
  • Other soft surfaces

All prepared substrates are disposable, archivable, bar-coded for tracking and sealed between wells to be sure only the solution of interest is being applied. A similar tension is applied to all substrates when they are made and they are validated in application-specific QC tests.
