Rapid GPC and Polyolefin Analytical SystemOur Polyolefin Analytical System enables the analysis of key polymer properties at a throughput of at least 48 samples per day ensuring that characterization does not become a bottleneck in your research. The Freeslate Rapid GPC enables high throughput analysis of polymer molecular weight and molecular weight distribution. The Rapid GPC has demonstrated throughput of more than 15,000 experiments per year at many of our customer sites. The Freeslate Rapid GPC includes fully automated sample preparation capabilities:
The system is housed in a custom ventilated cabinet. FT-IR CharacterizationFT-IR is used for the analysis of properties such as crystallinity (tacticity) or co-monomer content. We adopted a commercial FT-IR instrument equipped with a sample stage and integrated with our LEA software, which also controls the instrument. Full spectra and analysis data are stored in our database. Reflectance IR is utilized; solution samples are deposited on a reflective substrate using the GPC robotics or another appropriate sample deposition station. DSC CharacterizationDSC is commonly used to obtain melting temperature (Tm) and glass transition temperature (Tg). Freeslate has adopted a commercial DSC instrument equipped with an auto-sampler. Data is automatically stored in our LEA database and associated with the appropriate catalyst experiment. Samples may be prepared using the GPC robotics or another appropriate sample deposition station.
